CAB Licensed Packers
Certified Angus Beef LLC has a partnership with 31 licensed packers throughout North America. The link allows CAB to benefit with increased quantity of Certified Angus Beef ® brand product in the marketplace. Packers earn higher profits by selling a high-quality beef product consumers demand. So much so, they have passed those profits back down the supply chain to Angus producers that market cattle on a grid.
Since 1998, producers received nearly $200 million in CAB premiums on cattle that hit the target. Many times producers have received more than CAB premiums alone considering the added value in carcass weight and Yield Grade that can be achieved by hitting CAB’s 10 carcass specifications.
