Market to Feedlots

More than 60 feedyards in 16 states make up the Feedlot Licensing Program (FLP), a network of partners that work closely with the CAB supply development team.

CAB-licensed feedlots add
value to cattle by following
management practices
known to maximize the
genetic potential of
Angus-influence cattle.

These feedyards manage cattle for a quality endpoint and aim to work with cow-calf producers like you to improve their herds. They share performance data with customers and with CAB. Then, the feedlot or a CAB beef cattle specialist can help process and interpret that data to use for future herd improvement.

CAB-licensed feedlots add value to cattle by following management practices known to maximize the genetic potential of Angus-influence cattle. Working with cow-calf producers, stocker operators and cattle feeders, licensees can coordinate management practices like nutrition, implant programs and sorting strategies to allow the Angus genetics for carcass quality to be fully expressed.
