Do you know a producer that has a great CAB story?

CAB enjoys sharing the success stories of producers that excel at having cattle that earn the Certified Angus Beef ® brand. Maybe you know a bull-buying customer or neighbor who has a story that is just waiting to be told.

CAB Jacket

If we decide to use producer in a feature story, we will give you a free CAB jacket and maybe even include your ranch in the story if there is a strong tie.

Marketing Basics Profit Tip – Developing a Marketing Plan

Ranch life opens the way for a variety of plans—business, estate, breeding, and weekend. Why not add a marketing plan to the list?

Self-help gurus and business leaders often talk about success as it relates to a written plan. Placing your thoughts on paper commits them to memory and creates long-term accountability.

With this philosophy, marketing can be more than placing an advertisement in a spring bull-buying guide and the area radio stations. Those activities are good, but a marketing plan can discover opportunities and weaknesses. It can even show where your marketing investment is going.

On the next rainy day, do your homework, collect the necessary information and develop a marketing plan for your operation.

The CAB Connection e-list is the latest resource for industry partners and educators to receive news and information concerning quality beef production. Delivered approximately four times a year, recipients can enjoy articles and tools featured in an interactive, electronic format for your use and delivery to cattle producers.
